Wrinkled leather
#2
Same thing here
Yeah man, the same thing's happening on my willow leather on my seats (particularly below the headrest, where my shoulders/back hit).
Sorry I don't know what to do about it. I'm gonna try Armor All's leather protector - someone whose opinion I trust says it's great for treating leather.
I'll get back to you after I try some out tomorrow.

Re: Wrinkled leather
Armorall will cause your leather to be shiney and somewhat slippery-- use Lexol or a TRUE cleaner and conditioner two-step system. I recommend Eagle One if you want to do two steps; use one spray to clean the leather (lifts dirt, dries it) and a second to condition, which keeps helps keep it moist.
All-in-one systems don't tend ot be as effective-- the clensers counter the conditioner's effectiveness.
Happy cleaning!

Re: Wrinkled leather
Just used Lexol today and it's very nice. Conditions the leather without leaving any greasy residue and it even smells like leather.
The wrinkles are just a part owning leather seats. Think of it as skin that can't strech or accomodate (because it's dead) I think conditining the leather regularly with a good product (Lexol or Zaino's Leather in a bottle) would help minimize the wrinkles but I think it's inevitable.
Expect the unexpected when you least expect it.

Re: Wrinkled leather
Yea, mine is getting wrinkled. Especially the side bolsters. I'm nervous that if it looks like this after a few months, what is it going to look like after a few years? I keep it conditioned with Zaino leather stuff, but it doesn't really seem to help.

Re: Wrinkled leather
Leather does a majority of its "wrinkling" early in its life. The only thing that makes it look like it gets worse is that people don't carefully clean and condition it. Make sure you get in those wrinkles with a leather cleaner (note: CLEANER, not just a conditioner) and it will keep dirt from building up and making it look more wrinkled than it is. I clean mine every week, just because I'm obsessive, but I make sure I properly condition to restore the oils I'm stripping when I clean. So far, so good... Good luck with it-
