Wheel wax.............

The very day I had my Volks installed I put three
coats of Wheel Wax on. My wheels still look good
after several months but we get so much brake dust
on our wheels it's a f**king joke....not funny! Our
cars are made by a quality company, then why do
we have such terrible brake pads....got off the
subject....Wheel wax is a good thing!!

Wheel Wax is good, it helps actually clean and protect the wheel. However it does have some natural waxes in it therefore its not as durable as it could be. I prefer a pure sealant on my wheels like the Poorboy's World Wheel Sealant. This sealant with withstand much higher temperatures than a natural wax and provides a slightly stronger barrier of protection. I have both and I think both are good but the Poorboy's World Wheel Sealant is slightly better. I highly recommend getting atleast one of the two, it reduces cleaning time and keeps the wheels looking better for longer.

I don't think the pads on the '05 cars are that bad unless they are different than previous years. If you want to hear about bad brake dust, have you notice BMWs?
