Detail spray recommendations?

Hey guys,

Okay, I've got the G waxed and protected, now for my next question; which detailing spray do you guys use between waxes? I can get the Meguire's and Mother's stuff locally, but should I order the Zaino or Zymol detailing spray? Does Crystal Guard have a comparable product?

Many, many thanks,
-Alan

Meguire's is pretty good... TurtleWax also makes some "extra glossy" products. As for CG, it's is a base product, you put it directly on the car. After that, you can spray a detailing spray for ***** and giggles if you want. I would use Zaino and Zymol also as bases- they hide swirls really well and offer good protection. Other than that, anything you put on as a "detailer" will just be aesthetic and not offer any major protection. You'll get about 50 opinions on this one

I'm going the CG route, and will post quarterly results. So far so good, it's equal to the 3-step process I've used on many cars before, but takes 1/4 the time.

Zaino Z-6, but use with other Zaino products- they're all awesome.

Re: Detail spray recommendations?

I've always used Meguire's Quick Detailer mist and it kept my old car looking shiny and beautiful between waxes (and it smells great also!). I've thought about trying other brands, but this one worked so good, I've never felt the need to try anything else.
