Feeler: Vortech SC

I am considering selling the Vortech that has been sitting in garage. I came to the realization today that I'm just too busy and may not ever get around to installing it again.

Just to be up front. This is my story:

https://g35driver.com/forums/dfw-g35-owners-club/102037-firefox-sc-update.html

The SC unit had 19K miles on it before I received it. I've hand polished the unit and visible pipes and the intercooler. This is what is included:

-Vortech Supercharger unit
-Fuel Pump, FMU
-All the bolts, spacers, fuel lines, quick connects, oil feed/return lines
-ARC oil pan tapped for the oil return
-Brand new NGK spark plugs (1 step colder) for this application
-Split second box.
-Autosport wiring harness. Wires are pre tapped. Just need to match up the wire colors.
-New serpentine and supercharger belt

Going through all the parts, it looks like the only thing that is missing is the oil feed fitting, which shouldn't be all that much

Looking for $3200

I'm interested but did you figure out if it was a flaw in the cogs or a weakness in the belt that cause the belt's destruction?

I got the supercharger used, so I had the used belt sitting in the garage for about three months in the 100 deg Texas heat. The belt was stagnant for too long. When we fired it up, it was ok. I had about 20 minutes of fun. Then after 20 minutes of operation, I heard the belt just unravel under the hood. The frailed belt ended up cutting into my VTC wires shorting out my ECU.

We slapped a new belt on and the supercharger itself physically worked no problem. But the ECU was fried so it would not idle properly. I was kind of pissed at that point so that is why I took off the kit. Honestly, if it didn't fry the ECU, I would have left the kit on.
