How is this a good price? There $399 new including shipping with a warrenty. The only you get different is a $40 display relocater and a $20 mount with a non-transferable warrenty.

so if anything went wrong with the radar it will have a warrenty as well as when they come out with new updates you can send it in for them. Valentine will only update radars that are sent in by the original registered owner. Hence the reason they only sell them by CC purchase and assign a individual serial number to each detector sold.

gtfo whiner. if you don't like the price then go make your own thread about it. quit threadcrapping other people's sales.

your wrong on the updates man......I bought mine used and sent it in for an update...gave them my serial number and they updated it. I Dont think it has anything to do with the serial number registered to individual person..that would be one reason alot of people wouldnt by the radar detector if you cant resell it. Valentine 1 gets your money either way when you upgrade so why would they care who owned it before.
