There's cool bed holsters that u can get for the side of the bed.
But since it's not concealed u risk having ur gone stolen when ur not home.
That's if they try breaking in again, which they prob will.
Someone dumb enough to rob from their neighbors will prob try it again.

I got to "The Bullet Trap" in East Plano

 

Bullet Trap is where I go as well.. It's over in my hood East Plano, avenue K and Park. Great group of people there. You can also rent guns to shoot and they are very knowledgeable.

Also a 9mm would be fine. A shot from that is gonna drop someone if hit in the chest. May not kill them but nothing a second shot can't take care of.

Got me a Glock 9mm, We usually go to Winchester shooting range off 820 and lancaster in Ft worth. The girl got arrested yesterday, they ****ed with the wrong people my lil brother is a cop. I still want another 9 or maybe a .22 for my fiancee to carry. A 45 is to much it recoils bad for a girl 4'9"

 

Good choice. I hate the way Glocks feel but if it feels good to you they are nicely built and very reliable. If you are looking at a .45, just get a good 4-5 inch barreled .45 - It will have minimal recoil. My .45 full size Kimber 1911 kicks less than my 9mm Taurus I use for CC that only has a 3.5 in barrel.

 

That's why I like my Glock 23C w/ ported barrel.. The fire comes out of the top, not the end, so it has less recoil.. It's small so it's perfect for a female's hands and it doesn't kick as much.. Prolly about as much as your 9.
