I'm trying to break into the industry as a sound engineer for live bands - I've been doing it now for over a year for UTA and it's time to move on. If anyone hears about people running sound where I could maybe just pick their brain for a bit, I would appreciate it. I am also a novice at ProTools LE so I am not limited to live sound.

Ultimately, I'd like to be in the industry running sound at live gigs or even recording and mastering in the studio. Just thought I'd drop my name out there and see what bites.

I have been in music retail, wholesale, live sound for 10 years and I have a ProTools HD studio in my house. I know a few things

 

ProTools HD, now that is HOT. We should hang out sometime. Are you still in sales? Where?

 

I am not in sales anymore but I still have deep connections all over the industry. I am now the director of sales and marketing for a guitar manufacturer. I am in Socal

 

i do live video production for A&M (all the sporting events for the big screens), we would be a good team. haha

 

As in Texas Aggie football? Are you in private business or do you actually work for the University?
