flywheel resurfacing
flywheel resurfacing
Hey guys, I need to get my flywheel resurfaced before I install my new clutch. Can anyone recommend a shop that can take care of that? As you know our cars have dual mass flywheels that apparently not everyone knows how to resurface, or so I've heard... I plan on doing this later day, so any quick help is appreciated!

LOL.
I've actually been in contact with a few people with TT set ups, and most agree there is more chatter, some said it's only noticeable at idle, but all said driveability went a notch down with the lightweight flywheels.
I'm trying to achieve a balance with this car, not going for uncompromised performance. The car looks stock, sounds stock exhaust-wise, and drives just as smooth as stock, It's just a ****load faster, lol. So I'm trying to keep it that way as much as possible.

yeah, those small gains are always tempting.. infact, I almost went with a topspeed exhaust recently, then decided against it. I really don't want it to be much louder, if at all, compared to stock. How is the topspeed with the silencers, can anyone comment? But then the next question is will it give me any gains over stock with me leaving the silencers on...
