Will Nissan Dealer do warranty work on my G?

Gas gauge is not reading properly. Filled up today left the pump came back and it had stopped. Got in the G drove off said I only had 3/4 of a tank. Pulled back in to another pumped turned G off then to on position. Guess what!?!?! Full Tank! I am currently in Lubbock and there is only a Nissan dealership, will take care of this problem since its still under warranty?

Yeah take it into that dealership and ask for Tom Jinks. He will take care of you! I dealt with him one time for a repair on my G35 when my flux capacitor went out!

Thanks a lot fisher t. Seeing that you've had you G for approximately a week I'm quite positive it hasn't touched ground in Lubbock yet and theres probably not a Tom Jinks at the Nissan dealership out here. Can anyone else advise?

Called Nissan Dealer here in Lubbock and they said they DO NOT perform warranty work on Infiniti vehicles. Are they not the same freaking company?

Different brands, and they will not allow Nissan to work on Infiniti.... it sounds stupid, but they want to keep the Infiniti a premium brand... i dont agree with it at all.. but still.. drive down to dallas, we will go to lunch...

I had the same problem with the gas gauge not reading correctly ... after a few visits and some recommendations from members here on the boards, Grubbs Infiniti replaced the fuel pressure regulator which fixed the problem.

thats bull$hit. I'm out here in lbk too, and my axle is doing that 'clicking' thing. I called Grubbs, where I bought it, and they said the Nissan place should be willing to work on it. I'll try and stop by there this week and see what McGavick has to say. If I have to drive to Dallas anytime I need work done I'm gonna be pissed.

I go to McGavock in Lubbock but no they wouldn't do any warranty repairs for me. Instead I have them tow/drive it to Dallas everytime I need warranty work done.
