Well, I'm not lowered 2".. so I think I might be able to go to the dealership. Firestone is a stone's throw away from my house, so I'm kinda being lazy, lol. Dallas Frame and Alignment is just a bit too expensive, I've read of people having good results at gasp, firestone for like half the price. Just like when I painted my bumper, I could have paid $600 to do it at the popular shop, but instead I paid $300, got a set of hotchkis sway bars with the money I saved and it came out great, and so far doesn't show any signs of damage like bubbling or such that would result from a crappy job.

(Now I'm sure after saying that firestone will f#$k up my alignment )

Dallas Frame ain't an expensive place. Believe me, I'm a cheap **** when it comes to some things, but I paid like 60 or 70ish for my 2 wheel alignment on the maxima. 4 wheel can't be that much more expensive. Hell, when I was in there, was talkin to one guy about how much he loved working on the Z (which isn't really different suspension wise) because of how easy they were. Said it was one of the easiest cars he had ever worked on. Give em a call and tell em to include the DNE discount.

Got Firestone lifetime alignment...been there about 4 times and zero problems (other than the alignment tech getting off early before I arrived). My buddy also took it to Kwik Kar Lube & Tune (Midway/Park) after he installed my air suspension.

Hmm, guess it's cheaper than I thought it was!

Yeah, it's experiences like this that make me think about going to Firestone. Lifetime alignment sounds pretty cool. I think I will give them a shot and if they mess up, Dallas Frame and Alignment or the dealer it is

The Plano location off Park/Ohio is where I've gone to for Firestone.

I had to do Dallas F&A after trying 5 different places that couldn't get my lowered car on their racks ... Grubbs, Kauffman tire, Jeffrey's Auto (local place), and 1 or 2 others.

I even found a place in Fort Worth that had drive-in pits just like Dallas F&A but the guy seemed clueless and didn't want to mess with my aftermarket stuffs.

Josh at Dallas F&A really knew his stuff. He brought me into the pit and showed me all the adjustments in the rear and pointed out how the rear was toed in too far. Then after I did the rear toe bolts I could really see how much adjustment there is. Brought it back to Josh and he got it done in no time ... here's my alignment thread where all the same options of Firestone and other places were discussed.

+2 on the guys at DFA. I do think I paid like $120+ for a 4 wheel alignment. I had bad luck at other places, so I don't mind paying a little more....

So, 14 years later, I'm searching on Google for a corner balancing shop near me, and this thread pops up in the results! LOL

How is everyone doing? What is everyone driving now? I miss you guys! We had a great group.

By the way, I ended up taking my g35 to Texas track works in ft Worth back then. They did a great job and it was well priced.

Jon! Good to hear from you! Congrats on the Jeep truck! I'm sure you can have a lot of fun with that in Colorado. Doubt you're gonna cook it's brakes in the track and change their color though

Funny how things come full circle. Most people have no idea of the reason for a corner balance. Either find a Motorsport fanatic near you or there is probably always a shop near the track that can do it.
