Thinking of throwing a car show in DFW

Probably next year in March or April....what are your throughts? Ideas on how I could pull this off and make it a good one?

Marketing, marketing, marketing ... there are dozens of car clubs around DFW that you could market to.

What kind of car show are you shooting for here? Import, Domestic, new, old, etc.?

that would be koo.
not sure how big you are trying to make it but maybe a good idea would be a park . dont have to pay for parking and maybe get there early for spots. like i said not sure how big. of course word of mouth and like Jon said "Marketing, marketing, marketing"

The team has some experience w/ shows. We threw one in Corpus Christi last year, and had a lot to do with the old Traxion events few years back.

yeah, that sounds really good... my sister use to throw car shows awhile back so if u need any help in promoting or anything I know people and i can help some...

call up Lamborghini Dallas, maybe they can bring the Reventon out. If people knew that was there you would get some people to come

Free hotels for people driving in from out of town would be a good start......

I think location is a big plus to me, as well as trophies/payouts, any kind of entertainment, time...... Are you trying to keep this a small local show or marketing to other cities.??

I'm wanting to keep this local, but if San Antonio, Austin, or Houston people want to come they're more than welcome.
