Top Speed exhaust installed - 05 Sedan

Met up w/ drone this past friday and helped him install the Top Speed exhaust system on his car. I have to admit it sounds pretty sweet. Install was pretty straight forward. The 05's though didn't have two hangers for the exhaust by the bumper, which was strange. We reused one of the hangers from the midpipe, which secured it nicely. With silencer it was pretty quiet, but when we took it out...very nice, deepy, and throaty sound. I'll let drone post some pics up when he gets a chance.

BTW...he's got some sweet painted OEM wheels. He can also tint your taillights and emblems if you wish. Good stuff!

You can pickup the needed hangers and add them. The same thing has to be done on any exhaust intended for 03-04 models (like the HKS rear section). You can probably find a list of parts in one of the HKS threads....

Ahh, so just order the exhaust hangers from an 03-04 and they'll bolt right up?

I think so. I am too lazy to search, but I think there is at least one hanger on the muffler that needs to be added to the 05-06 (from the 04-03). I want to say it was about $20 in parts.

OK, I searched. You need the rear bracket, bolts, and 2 rubber hangers. You can get them through one of the Infiniti dealers on here. Someone also provided this link:

Oh, and the parts are about $40, not $20 as previously stated. The new bracket will mount to existing holes in the body of the 05-06 model....
