Anyone here running Gordgee's grounding gear wires? I've heard a lot of good things but I am still kind of skeptical.

Opinons? Anyone running them so maybe I can check them out?

put the full kit in my 05 5AT and it runs soo much smoother. shifting in tiptronic mode is faster too

 

I did search which is how I found out about groundinggear in the first place. However, the purpose is to find people who have installed it locally so maybe I can see it first hand before purchasing.

 

I have groundinggear on my '04 6MT and the only difference it made on my car is the pretty color inside the engine bay. I have heard from 5AT owners that it improves shifts but IMHO it didn't do anything for my 6MT from a running standpoint.

 

They seem to work great on 5A's. Shifting is greatly improved. Next to Motordyne's plenum mod it's one of the best things that be done for the car for the least amount of money.

 

I've had a grounding kit on my 5AT...had 11 wires at one point...4 gauge. Shifts seemed smoother, but did it really make a difference in how my car drove or how fast it was? nope.

 

if the grounding kits make the pre-2005 5AT transmissions shift smoother, i'm all for it. i hate not having the rev-match feature in my 2004 5AT.

 

Same. It feels alot smoother, but not a 500hp increase.

 

My 5AT felt smoother with a grounding kit.
