right headlight is out!

help i need a new ballast and ignitor! My bulb isn't out but my headlight is not turning on can someone help me!?

you be better off finding someone that has a broken lense,and stripping off the ignitor and ballast of it...this for a coupe or sedan?..i know the ballasts off coupes are interchangeable from yrs 03-07..you should be able to pick these parts up for around 100.00

You have a few options:

1. You can look on craigslist and ebay for a new ballast. There are multiple nissan/infiniti models that share the same ballast, so you don't necessarily have to pay a lot. I got a new one for under $80 a year ago.

Drawback - your car may be out of commission after 7pm for some days.

2. You can go to a junk yard and find one of the models that shares the same part and buy it from there.

Drawback - you will likely have to purchase a whole light.

3. You can purchase an aftermarket ballast and ignitor cable.

Drawback - you will have to find some place to mout it.

*4. I had a ballast go out on me last month. I went and did all the above things and hap decided to get the aftermarket because it was the fastest fix. When I took out the ballast, I noticed that it had water in it. I put that ballast in the oven and baked it for about 30 minutes on a medium setting, drying out the circuit.

The result - ballast has worked perfectly ever since.

I forgot that option.

There is a guy on craiglist right now selling an 06 Maxima Headlight with ballast. You could see if he wants to just let the ballast go.

Wow thanks a bunch guys! For feedback and everything. I found a broken headlight for $75. Thanks again!

LOL! I did the same thing when my right headlight bulb was going out...I bought 2007 headlights instead of a new bulb!
