where did they get the carbon fiber for the dash? Is that just a service they provide?

Actually, I wrapped it myself. I figured I'd do it while the dash was apart, while I was installing my new head unit. I got some carbon fiber fabric from somebody on the BMW forums. It's not real carbon fiber, nor is it vinyl. It's some kind of fabric, but looks pretty good. I have to give credit to the folks on this thread. https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...-pieces-2.html

I sanded the down the double din, sprayed it with some 3M Super 77 adhesive and wrapped it. Kind of a pain to get the contours right such that it doesn't lift off the dash over time.

You can always get other colors. I have the black carbon fiber look fabric on my amp rack.
