Nice nice. So is no necessary to powdercoat the plenum? Paint will hold up?

T - you already know how much i admire the paint job. +11111 - R1 did a great job with that and the fitment.

AND the sweet paint job that was done on the plenum certainly helped make the bay look much cleaner but yea, there was some grease and grime that needed to get gone. i can assure you it's clean enough to eat off of now!

let me know if you want a clean plate to eat off of too...

I'll let you know in a few months, but for some reason, my plenum doesn't get too hot.. I drove like 45 mins the other day, and was still able to touch my plenum w/out getting burned.. The way he treated it, and then painted it, and then cleared it, it doesn't seem like it's gonna crack either.. IT's GLOSSY!!! I actually think it'll last (especially cuz I don't drive her daily anymore).. Once again, thanks to R1Forever80.. He'll DEFINITELY be doing some more work for me soon..

Absolutely man.. Send a PM to M-Motorsports, he's a vendor on these threads that sells bulbs.. I got the map lights, my blue LED trunk light, my 6000K HID projectors, Solaris Yellow Fog Lights, and LED Side marker bulbs from him as well.. He has GREAT prices and ships fast as HECK.. I live in Texas and he does too, I normally get my stuff in 2 days after order.. I know he's on spring break vacation this week, so it might be this weekend before he hits you back.

damn tony.. looks so sick. love it in person even more! does r1 polish plenums as well or does he jus do paint? oh.. and i was gonna ask u about ur spacer.. u got 1/2 a inch i believe and from all the studying that ive done on the forum i got that the 1/2 inch is better if u want top end performance and the 5/16 is better if u want all around... but wats ur opinion on it?

Well I'm getting my polished parts from SxExCx because he already has them available, and if he doesn't, it'd only take him 2 to 3 days to do so. For a polished plenum it's 285 + 100 deposit. Once he gets your 285, he ships the plenum, and when u send your regular plenum, he refunds the other 100.

As for the spacer, yeah, I have the 1/2". It gets u more air to the front 2 cylinders. It also gives u a nice growl from your intake as well. The only thing to remember is you won't be able to get your engine cover back on. And u have to be mindful of what strut bar you get to ensure it clears it
