Yea and id love to see what would happen to a rim with a stretched tire hitting a pothole at 100mph

^^ ummm hitting a pothole at 100 regardless of streetch or not will end up in the same result -______-.
the minute you drop your car, and get a FG kit, you are sacrificing your speed for looks homie.

 

Yeah I do plan to go lower since I don't have to drive it everyday. Coils will be next. Rear camber kit is already on it's way. So I'll be throwing a little positive camber in there to poke the top a little more. Not really gonna buy new tires for the stretched look.

 

they bend...then u repair them and do it again...you gotta pay to play...

 

^ the rim won't be the only thing that's gonna bend if the tire goes flyin off the rim. Hell even hard cornering is unsafe with stretched tires

 

my argument is not so much with the stretchin as the lowering. stretching is a little much...mine aren't too stretched, but when they were, i used to pop the bead a little more often than i liked...but my car is slammed, and i drive it VERY spiritedly, but since i push my car, i have to understand the limits and when i exceed them (it happens), i know what will happen...i do have a problem with people assuming they know what the limitations of these cars, when i have exceeded the common assumptions on a daily basis...super stretched tires are not for hardcore driving, but a little stretch for smooth clearance never hurt anyone.

 

...but TONY...i definitely think you should go a little lower with some coilovers.

 

I totally agree spec.. it's gonna happen bro.. Like I said..the rear camber kit's on it's way as we speak.. I'm threatening VV that I'm gonna get my coils on before does, and I don't even have the coils yet.. he has the camber arms AND coils in hand RIGHT NOW!!! LMAO.. SLACKER man..
