Twalls Progression Thread
I approached Dustin with an idea to make a splitter for the K2 as he does for the Nismo and Inven.. He told me that one was not readily available through him or any other vendor.. But that he was up to the challenge if I was serious to finance a moldless project..
After weighing how much I wanted it, I gave him the green light, and within an hour he produced a rough sketch on a piece of cardboard..

Because of the Carbon Fiber laying process, he told me it'd take about 2 weeks..
Not a week later, he sends me a fed-ex shipping number and I honestly thought he was kidding till I ran the number and sure enough it was real.. He then also sent me a pic of the finished splitter before it was shipped.. Had a k2 with a CF lip (that's gonna look nice for someone)

Literally 3 days later the box was on my doorstep.. I took it to Stephen today, and let him do his magic.. (Thanks big time sir..)
This was the result.. (notice he even ensured that the weave goes in the same direction as the hood, he specifically asked me that, I didn't even think about that.. Kuddos for attention to detaill Dustin)

Thanks Dustin for taking on this project and making it come to life.. You have helped me finish off my front.. Next step will be FI in feb hopefully.. Time to get in that engine..
I'll be doing a proper shoot soon.. was waiting on this and the wheels, but I have no idea when the wheels are coming in so I'm not gonna wait anymore.

Thanks guys.. I'm just glad the possibility was made a reality..
Yeah man.. love the accent, and definitely a functional necessity w/ that lightweight hood.. Got that from Dustin too as well as the hood pins and CF Hood Dampers..
