DFW Mod / Repair / Maintenance / Touch up Day
i agree. i had a 72 split bumber camaro with a 400 big block 100 shot nitros 400 turbo trans with a 2500 stall and trans break. I had everything grounded on it. especially with the older cars you could rev it and the headlights would get brighter once i grounded the hell out of it i never had a issue.
Yeah, so is this Saturday, the 16th, 8am, confirmed?

Chime in ppl.... I guess all are ok w that day, except 1 or 2 who will be out of town.
Ofcourse, we need a plan B, if its rains.
Dont hate on technology.
Best reasoning that you can give for MT.
plan b is standing in the garage drinking looking at our cars through the drops....
god bless having a beater... I can probably count on one hand, MAYBE two, the number of times my G has been in the rain... she's a garage queen
I don't think I could ever bring myself to buy a sports car with an automatic. I could possibly get a double-clutch sequential tranny if it was a dedicated track car, but I don't know...I just love rowing my own gears and heel-toeing the old fashion way. (Can think the new 370Z SynchroRev Match is annoying AND think it's cool?)
All this being said, when I've taken my car in for service at Sewell and gotten a loaner 08 model, I've been very impressed with how intelligent the auto tranny is in S mode. It does really well with holding a gear through a turn, downshifting at just the right time when on the brakes, etc.
