Pro Tuning Performance

Ft. Worth, TX 76133

Alignments- This summer we purchased a brand new Hunter aligner and rack. It has every option and slammed cars are not a problem as we specialize in modded cars, unlike most alignment shops that do everything from G35s to F350s. We were aligning cars prior to the rack using the same techniques as when we're out at the race track.

Fender Rolling- We roll fenders all the time with a professional roller and heat gun. We've done lots of G's and Z's.

Tires- Our Hunter tire machine is specifically designed for scratch free operation. No metal ever touches the wheel during the mounting process. We routinely mount CCW, Volk, Advan and other high end wheels.

I know this is a little odd, but a good friend has a dodge stealth and needs a mechanic that he can trust... anyone know of anyone or any shop?

also, can someone (for example dan at outerperfomance in grandprarie) do an effective uprev/osiris tune without use of a dyno? is it essential to have a dyno?

A street tune is possible, but not as accurate. They aren't really safe either. The person tuning needs to be able to take the car from 3rd gear (almost sitting still) through redline. Where can that safely be done? Any tuner worth his weight won't even consider doing this.

i'm beginning to think i got "gypped?" i was charged 550 (including tax) for two street tunes and the Uprev/Osiris. I was told it's extra if I wanted the tune checked on a dyno (I was told something like $80 per pull). Is this right?

I haven't done any of the work as yet (but have paid) as I'm in the process of installing headers and a y-pipe...

Thanks!

Where did you buy it from? If it wasn't a reputable shop, then I wouldn't let them touch my car. One pull with a tune bad enough can cause catastrophic failure. Is it likely? Not really, but possible none the less. I street tuned my car for months, and thought I had it on the money by the butt-dyno. Finally gave in and put it on the dyno for a few hours, and wow.. Amazing difference. Street tuning is half *** at the most. Spend the money, and go to a reputable tuner that will actually put it on a dyno and give you a good tune. If you need some names of reputable shops, just ask.

can anyone help with installing my headers? i don't have tools, but i'll pay $200 and be eternally grateful! i have the topspeed headers (ceramic coating them). i've heard there are easier ways to install headers and shave 2-3 hours off installation time??

Just wanted to say THANKS!! for the info on:

Soundscape Car Audio
192 Industrial Blvd #102
McKinney TX 75069
972-540-5400
www.SoundscapeCarAudio.com

They totally set up my iPod connection exactly the way I wanted it etc. They definitely took the time to do it right and helped me out with giving me the info as to how things work, etc. In the end; I left a happy customer and will definitely be going back for all my audio needs. Thanks for those who suggested it; they definitely hooked it up.
