Anyone gone to a 1/4 mile track and test in Dallas area? I've never done this and I'm trying to find a cheap easy track. So far I see Yello Belly in Grand Prairie is the best option, I live in The Colony so it's still kind of far, maybe an hour. Looking to see my times then add high flow cats later and tune, and time again. I know my sedan is not fast...but why not make it as fast as an Infiniti NA sedan will go?

Welcome to the DFW forum greatdane. Several of us have been to the Texas Motorplex in Ennis (quite a bit further than Grand Prairie) but only a handful actually drove the 1/4 because it was a test&tune and a car show.

I did run the 1/4 the last time I was there but I am more into road course driving (High Performance Driving Events or HPDE's) at places like Motorsport Ranch in Cresson or Texas World Speedway at College Station. There's a dedicated thread in the Events subforum about HPDE's.

 

Welcome, I have a sedan as well so glad to see other sedans modding too.

 

Definitely avoid Yellobelly unless you're a vato or gangbanger. Just youtube some videos to see what I mean. It's not a good idea to go there.
