24 Hour Fitness membership

Does anyone know someone who works at or has any association with 24 Hour Fitness center that can provide better deals than the ones currently being offered online as well as at the club.

There are several deals going on but I don't like some of the restrictions, such as being limited to Sport club only...

Sorry for this post if you were expecting G35-related topics.

Any Sports membership should have access to any lower level clubs like Active clubs. You just won't be able to use Super Sports.

I'd check w/ your workplace to see if they offer any corporate discounts. I've been a member for a long time, but I was able to sign my gf up for $35/month to the super sport location with a corporate discount with no activation/starter fees.

hey Will, what's up? Thanks for the info. I wanted to have access to the Super ones but the current promotion does not include it and it is also non-renewable. I work at a private office, not any big company or corporation. Have you tried the Super one in Murphy? Wonder what that one is like - I'm assuming you go there b/c it's close to you.

Last time I went to Costco, they were offering a 2yr membership for $299, which comes out to about $12.50 a month.

Yeah I have a membership at the one in Murphy, it's like 1.5 miles from my house. It's a really good club. Indoor pool, outdoor pool, sauna, steam room, full court basketball, awesome locker rooms, everything brand new. Half of the cardio machines have individual TVs and Ipod hookups.

Actually, that is one location I want to go to since it's also close to home but the current special does not include Super, only Sport and active...

I think the costco thing may only include Sport as well but not sure.

Here you go:

Costco doesn't include the Super Sport, but I think its still a good deal.

You can get a traditional membership, and then "upgrade" for around $10/month extra.

Yup, Costco is the way to go for a gym membership with 24 hour fitness if you have one near you. I was paying $35/mo like a fool at LA Fitness until I switched. I haven't looked back since.

Yep, looks like I will settle with the Costco deal. 12.5/mo vs. 15.x/mo. Thanks for the input.
