OK u guys are gonna laugh...halloween weekend..this guy backs up into my new front bumper and now it's cracked...so gettin that repaired...after I follow him and stop him..."cause he didnt feel f'n hittin da **** out my car"..

Now Friday..coming home from my first week of commuting to Plano...I get rear-ended on the tollway...not bad but bumper cover is def cracked...so I need a new bumper now...might as well upgrade, right...anyone know local of aftermarket bumpers???

I decide to make the best of it..go out to mckinney, meet some friends, had a good time..going home...f'n CD error mssg and now 2 cd's are stuck....Will, do you know how to take the dash/head unit apart..maybe can be fixed??

 

Ouch! Definitely time for some aftermarket stuff. At least you are getting both at the same time, and covered by someone else's insurance. I say this was a good thing.

Way to follow that guy. I am surprised you didn't start yelling at the dude, cause I sure would've.

sorry to hear man, $hit happens & i remember when BS like that would happen to me all the time. if u dont want to do aftermarket bumper, i still have all my stock parts if you need. they are the same color......lmk

You can try to fix it, but honestly it may be a lost cause. I had my OEM head unit out when I had the Pioneer AVIC in, and I tried to disassemble it. Was way too complex for me, so I didn't bother.

 

Where you at least able to recover your CD's?

I'm trying to create a silver lining...go with a replica CS rear and I'm going to see if the insurance will cover my stereo..I don't know if it was just coincidence but my CD changer crapped out right after I got rearended...do you think the shock from the impact could have jacked it up??? I know ins is probably gonna argue it but gonna try.

 

Nope, my jams from 2006 are still stuck in there.

Shock from impact may have caused it. If insurance covers it, buy my double din!
