History

It was 2/14/09, or Valentine's Day to some. This day was when I received the greatest thing a boy could be blessed with.My dad wanted to get me a luxury car, but I insisted on a civic.Sooner than later, we decided on an Infiniti G35. He told me he scheduled an early appointment for Crest on Valentine's Day.You can imagine how giddy and anxious I was trying to sleep the night before.Morning comes and I fall asleep the way there with my dad and grandma.I arrive at the lot and see so many G's lined up, fellas, it was heaven... Anyways I picked out this beautiful Obsidian Black G35 with the sport bumper and spoiler. My dad and I took awhile to agree to which one we liked and we agreed to that G.He signed the contract and we drove away towards the family business to show my uncle and brother. It was a thrill that day, my first car but not technically.Soon, I began to ponder what I should name it, and decided to name it after an old friend of mine.Yes, it was a girl, and her name was Lexi.So I thought it would tie in nicely to my car.A month after, I decided I wanted to fix her up.I had that modding bug for so long, I finally saved up and ordered the parts.I also decided to re-name Lexi, since she was losing her original look. I wanted to keep the Lexi in her name, and I found a greater piece of the puzzle.Ladies and Gent's, I present to you...

Waijai: Yes I did, $4 for a 3oz. bottle, which was more than enough considering all the debadging I did.

Twalls: I was already geared towards fixing up my car, but your "Beast" definitely pushed me to do it. Much gratitude to you, tony.I'm installing a 5/16" Motordyne Engine Spacer, OEM Z-tube, JWT Popcharger, and clear corners next.

Soon after, I'm installing 06 projectors,Berk Tech HFC's, SxExCx Grounding Kit, and HKS Hi-Power Exhaust.

I'm still trying to decide on my cosmetics.

Thinking about K2 front bumper w/ mesh grill, Chargespeed rear bumper, and Impul sides.
Sorry Tony, but that combination is just too fierce!

So far, so good.
You can get Goo Gone at or around the same price at Walmart.

Yup I shoulda took pics etc. It was a fast clean install.Only long part was the washers under the upper plenum weren't lining up correctly and we forget to place washer for the screws in place.Other than that, my coupe sounds mean...

agreed, the engine cover needs to go lol. take the step into madhood.

sounds like you have a good start going. make sure you get the smoked black grounding wires from Sean - that's what i have and they look clean on the OB.

hopefully you have better luck with your Berks man, lmao. mine are still sitting in my garage and i shed a tear every time i look at them.

i know man, i know....i've just been too busy with work lately to do anything about it. plus, if it ISN'T the bar, i'll just get pissed off all over again lol. maybe i can give it a shot this coming Friday or something.

(sorry kwick for jackin the thread) i totally agree with tony though - the grounding kit will make a noticeable difference on an AT.

Personally I would save my money and not purchase a grounding kit.
