So the saga continues I am driving to go wash her yesterday and I am down shifting into 3rd and then nothing car just revs and I start slowing down. So the car just revs no matter what gear, reverse nothing works. So I have to walk back home after pushing it into this city park parking lot and of course I go back today and it's being loaded up onto a tow truck headed for the Garland pound luckily the cops where still up the road and they let him drop the car into a Kroger parking lot and he didn't even charge me anything. So maybe my luck is turning around.

The guy who rebuilt the transmission is coming up to pick it up tomorrow and tow it back down to his shop. For the less then a day I had her back she was bad as$.

Thanks guys for your support the transmission guy did pick it up today he is going see if it's something easy first like a sensor before he pulls it but I doubt it he thought the way it was acting it might be the torque converter. He did say that over all they are strong tranny's it's the same one that's in the Titan and should be able to handle the power I am putting down so hopefully it's not anything major and I get back to enjoying all the time and money I have put into that car.

 

What numbers are you putting down? Don't remember seeing it in previous posts.

I did post but it was a conservative tune at 373. WHP. and 325wtq. I was hoping for more but it sure felt fast too me.
