So are you going to stick with the Vortech and 2.87 pulley? Or are you thinking about something else now?
I always thought that if I were to go with a forged bottom end I would go twin turbo because I love the torque curve of a turbo compared to the S/C. However I still think a S/C is the way to go for the track with the linear power being very predictable.
It sounds like you are going the educated route and using experts to do the build and tune.
I know you will not regret the end result!! I've been driving my Vortech G for 3.5 years now and STILL love the power every time I drive her!!

Thanks guys and yes I am going to stick with the vortech with the GTM pulley mod and the 2.87 pulley with the water/meth injection. I would love the power of TT but there is no way I could afford that right now. I am tring to build a solid road racing car so balance and power deliever are a concern. I have read good things about Uprev and there tuneing so hopefully this will be straight forward for them. I am going with the built bottom end cause I want to be able run the car hard on the track and have one less thing to worry about.

Update
Update things are moving forward motor is being built at Inport parts pro and the car is schduled to be shipped early next week to Austin so that they can start pulling the motor and checking to see if there is any head damage. I sure hope not and it would be nice if the block was saveable too that's 750 bucks if not.

Hey Jacob long time no speak how you doing how's Jenn tell her I said hi. Any way back on topic, that's a hell's no on using the access port I will be getting the orris tune like I should have from the start. Jared is going on vacation so that will delay things a bit and I am guessing that's why he is so busy. It's been this long I can't rush it now I told him I want to drive it home from Austin so I want it completely drivable/reliable as can be when I pick up .

I don't really have a firm date the motor has been built and GiGi is at their shop I was told they would be pulling the motor next week. I think it's most likely going to be the end of Jan. is my guess. Want to take a road trip down there to get her hehe?
