They-pipe I would put on my car would be the xyz pipe aka the motordyne y-pipe. Chris, you wanna sell it? I've been wanting one all of last year, and this year I can finally spend money on my ride again.

The way it works Tony is as follows. The Y-pipe is a foot or so shorter than what is needed to connect to the midpipe, and that end section is interchangeable. You have three options: a straight pipe, a resonator or a high flow cat. I have test pipes instead of my cats, so I would get the xyz pipe with a highflow cat, thereby having only 1 cat instead of 2, or with the resonator if I wanna stay catless, because I like being low key and not too loud.

By the way, you can check out motordyne's thread about their xyz pipe and all the flow testing with different angles and lengths etc that went into it's design.

well whenever u have the time, I've always been interested in the sound and quality of Motordyne's exhaust components, especially under the stock set up.

If your flex joints are scraping the ground and whatnot, I say ditch them. I've been through 3 y pipes and I got sick of it so I threw in the towel and rather than doing a straight pipe I had the flex joints cut out and replaced with piping. No difference in sound, no more flex joints ripping apart. Cost me 40 bucks, so its cheap.
