^^the fitment wasn't really good at all. It didn't sound good at all if you ask me. Inside the car it sounded even worse. But the funny part is, the guy I sold it to, it sounded different on his car...it actually sounded pretty good. So I dunoo but I just really didn't like the sound.

You should go over 4k rpm from time to time, even in the break in period or you're going to get odd wear lines. Just don't go hard on it. You can easily/lightly go over 4k. And the break in period is 1,500, not 3,500. And you really want to change your oil at 1,500 and then again at 3,000. Then you can go back to whatever frequency you want.

deemo what did you go with then?

My topspeed exhaust sounded good. it had some drone, but the sound was beefy as hell.. i wonder if there's a difference in topspeed and x02. i mean you heard my car, of course i have Test Pipes and boost, but even before that, the topspeed sounded great. It is all personal perference though.

^^yeah well your car sounded freakin awesome. But as I said for some reason it didn't sound right on my car...i didn't like the sound at all. But as soon as I sold it...it sounded pretty good on his car.

I'm just running stock exhaust for now. I don't know what to go with yet

for sale on my350z.com. 200 bucks shipped for muffler......probably go alittle cheap...Then pick up a 75.00 HR Y-Pipe...work on getting some HFC's and your set bud!

http://my350z.com/forum/exhaust/5144...o-exhaust.html

Deemo if you want a good OEM sounding exhaust......

here is a video from my g35 coupe when I had NISMO Muffler with the HR Y Pipe and I believe Kinetix HFC's 300 Cell

pics when installed for G35 owners...if you are a g35 owner you will have to extend the tips..I never did.

I recently added the OEM Nismo Muffler to my semi-stock exhaust configuration and that really finished everything up nicely. It's the perfect sound that I've been searching for.
Berk nonres Testpipes - HR Y Pipe - Stock midpipe - Nismo muffler. Freaking love it.
