The only thing remotely related to your fantasy is it was an asian lady who did the inspection for me LOL. I was grateful enough that she didn't check anything at all. woot!

just f.y.i. to all the members that want to perform the idler pulley delete I have the spacers needed in stock at my house so you wont have to cut up your OEM bracket. this will go right in place of where the spacer is needed.

Why would one want to delete their idler pulley?

any 04-05 non rev-up G35 the idler pulley is of no use to your motors. existed for the 03 for the manual fan purposes. since we have electric now it doesnt do anything. Nissan didnt want to modify the block and take away the idler pulley because they would have to make new belts for the application so they left it. On revup motors if you ever look you dont have the idler pulley anymore. this actually cleans up the look of the engine bay, offers less rotational mass for SO-CALLED increase power and longevity of the motor.

before idler pulley delete, wire tuck, upper heater hose, polished timing cover, ARC Parts.

current setup..missing some parts in this pic

Sweet! I'm already done then. Thanks for the explanation! I've already bought new belts and just need to put them on one of these days soon. I''ve never changed belts before but it sounds easy enough going at it from the bottom.
