Good luck sir. I've been told even pumpkin installs are difficult even though they sound and look pretty simple. Wish I could be there. Would love to help and witness that install

Also for the breather hose on the new cover Chris - I had to customize and 10mm socket so I could press that in... if you try to "bang it" in - it will bend...fyi...

Ok good stuff Chris - I will start farthest left first..

You only need the axle stub swap IF you are going from an open diff to aftermarket.. Since you are going VLSD to VLSD....you dont have to swap anything... (unless your diff didnt come with any stubby axles - you just would use yours)

The rubber part doesnt have to be touched at all sir.. dont take that off UNLESS you are swapping them with new - so that alone saves you a good hour or so..

Where you have to regrease is where the axle slides into the knuckle.. not the splines but the flat part...I will find ya a pic..

HERE! and use some DAMN GOOD lithium grease so you wont have to do this down the road..

if he's going from VLSD to VLSD... then what's the point? I'm confused... I thought the auto G's didn't have VLSD at all?
