5at Sports come with VLSD however its a 3.3 gear ratio. Its cheaper to buy a complete pumpkin from a 6MT with the 3.5 VLSD so that you can have the lower gear ratio. swapping the internal gears is extremely hard and outragously expensive.

I saw that thread.. It was all decomposed.. I can only imagine how bad that smelled.. EW.

Prolly as bad as when Phi and Chris got under his car this weekend and saw remnants of the dog he scraped up w/ his front bumper.. They were describing tufts of fur and innards melted to his undercarriage.. I almost hurled when they were talking about it.. I had to walk away..

CORRECTO! this is how I got my final drive - Someone else paid to get it installed (900 bucks) and wanted to go back.. I just swapped him and did the install for free and got the FD for free... WORK IT FOO!

im only intalling the fronts onto the diff and giving stephen the main center one since I already have that piece installed on my car. SPL wouldnt sell just the fronts by itself and for the price I just said to the hell with it and ordered the whole setup.

My OEM diff coming out already has the Solid SPL bushings in it along with the nismo Rear finned diff cover.

If I could only get a 100 dollar vlsd! 2 way diffs are expensive man, and selling my vlsd wouldn't cover the 1000+ for the new diff and pumpkin.

All in due time though. Just gotta stretch my funds. Modding on a part time budget

however did you see that my new diff didnt come with the axle inserts therefore I have to pop off mine from my old diff and swap them over to the new pumpkin...I remember from your QUAIFE DIY on my350z just alittle rubber mallet and they slide right out.... CORRECT?

im going to get by HF This weekend and pick up a 3/8 and 1/2 torque wrench

^^Yep...dead blow only please...dont want to mess up them flanges.. Once you "pop" it loose - should slide right out..

If it dont come out all the way...just keep tappin it, make her like it...lol... You cant mess up which side goes where either.. Since the driver axle stub is shorter than the passenger..
