anybody know of a good harness bar to buy i was thinking about sparco but its $450 and would rather start building a cage then...and nrg isn't supposed to be the greatest and id rather pay to have it right the first time

I'm gonna build them I think.. I'll probably end up charging around $300 but it will be a bar that goes between the b-pillars at about shoulder level.

Nah emad. We r both just doin what we can to be safe. I'm still debating on gettin a 6th gauge to monitor my meth spray but that sucker is 200 bucks

Make sure u learn how to weld first. Man do I need a tig and plasma cutter

lol.. I can weld. I fixed my coolant pipe and I did a bunch of practice welding on random metal parts.

my biggest issue right now is living in an apartment complex, I can't get a welder in my garage because I don't have access to the breaker box so I can't add a high voltage line.

also the 120 socket they give me has a gfci on it that will trip if I'm using the drill press and the vacuum, doubt it would support a welder at 120

yeah i bought this to make hoisting it easier, will support the tranny all in one..

Thanks, it goes in the valley where the intake sits, just bolt it in and attach the chains and youre good to go.

It does, I dont like the idea of having to drop it from the bottom, or having the chains pressed up against the heads and scratching it all up etc.

That looks good jack. We have the smaller one that's on 6 bolts I think sittin on the engine for the 59. Just make sure u get the leveling tool if ur planning on putting in the tranny and block at same time
