that sucks chris, I'd check those pipes you had welded up, sometimes there is pinhole leaks (like I had in mine) I had to reweld it, smooth it down, reweld it, smooth it down... takes awhile to make sure they are all gone.

Unfortunately its coming from the back side of the block by the transmission....I'm thinking the main back pipe...

you put those gaskets back on where the rear pipe attaches to the heads correct?

yup and I had bought new ones to replace and forgot to toss them on.......

I have taken my time sir!! 2 weeks now and still hasnt been completely finished.

well I have to remove the plenums to pull the wiring out of the way that is still back there to determine where its actually leaking at.....its fairly hard to take that pipe off the back..I had to use a prybar to get it to completely come off since the transmission dipstick is in the way...I removed the main bolt that holded that in place.

I will determine tonight.

LOLOL Look what came in today, totally didnt expect the OWNER of the company to drive from MO to drop it off but holy hell thats quick shipping. He was on his Waco so everything fell into place.

yeah, now I just need to wait for the book to come in so I can get to reading, I may buy some more **** for it today, this damn thing is heavy tho im afraid to take it home i dont want to drop it or scrape any of it on the ground when i unload it.

I have two options bring it in spec of ls1 or an ls6 Need to talk to a few machinist to get some pricing going.

what was done to that block? is it just a honed and cleaned ls block or what?
