Finally got around to doing my belt swap. I'm glad I did too. The ac belt was thrashed and it had chunks missing on the under side. I removed the idler pulley as well. Good riddance.

it's easy man.. Nissan provides the simple turn of a bolt for the belt tensioner. JAck the car up, take the under tray off, loosen the tension bolt, lower the tensioner with 12mm socket. belt slips off! reverse process. beer.

Looks like the rug gives the garage a soothing feeling =]

Does the belt affect how cold the a/c is? Cuz I just installed a new condenser + receiver/dryer + full a/c vacuum&charge, but the a/c is still not that cold.

Jon when you removed the idler pulley did you go down to a smaller belt? Also did you put that spacer in there? If anyone still wants to delete the idler pulley I have the spacers in stock so you dont have to wait since it's a special order item from dealer

yeah, i got the smaller belt and put the spacer in it.

Its cool I got what I could out, just need to undo the gauge wiring etc.
