If its just not working cuz your loosing freon then it believe its a simple fix. If the pipe is fine and its comming out the valve i believe you can replace just the valve. Problem is the system needs to be evacuated, valve changed, then recharged

Does the valve twist off or do I need a whole new line? I'm sure that's what it is

If its like normal lines the valve comes out like the valve in a tire stem. There may be something stuck in the stem thats causing the valve to stay open

yeah typically you can drain the system and replace the Schroeder valve. I had to do this in the buick recently..

speaking of the buick, I finally got my car drivable again!! I got new tires and alignment (had lifetime alignment) (I didn't want to spend money on tires, but they were 5 years old and starting to rot.) fixed the AC!!! and got my radio/system back together and working properly. I've been putting off that crap for a year now. so now I have my beater ready to drive again which is nice... I hate thinking that I HAVE to drive the G everyday.

Found the leak tonight. Ended up being backside main coolant pipe on the back of the block...passenger side where it bolts in wasnt tightended down fully....had to take everything off the car again and get back in there to tighten down the bolts....sucks but no more leaks as of right now.

With that being said I was sitting there after removing the plenums and lower intake runners and my damn oil spacer starts leaking.....I was like son of a bitch...long story short I checked the plug that caps off the opposite side and tightended it down and it hasnt leaked since....I just hope that I didnt lose that much oil becaue it was both oil and coolant on the ground when I got back home from work.

also finished up the vaccum lines for BOV and Boost Gauge! just have to wait until i start the car...hopefully monday I will be dropping off for a Tune!
