[DFW] What have you done to your G Today?
Ok, I'm getting a better idea of what this is all about. I've been all over these forums for the past 2 days trying to understand this, lol. With everyone's advice and checking out the Revup website, I think I know what is going on now. How much do think this should cost at PRT? Sounds like I need the Revup Standard package which is $500 plus ??? for PRT to do there part?

Ok, I've come to the realization that I can't afford the tune after all.
So new question.. I can install the these parts (plenum spacer, HFC's, Borla catback) without the tuneand still see some power gains and everything should be fine right or should I hold off on the plenum spacer until I can afford the tune?

That's not as bad as I was thinking but it's still much higher than I was expecting before I realized I had to purchse the UpRev license as well. I just bought my car and the agreement between me and the wife was that I would only do the exhaust system until the car is paid off. I told her it was going to cost about $1,500 but since I'm buying all used parts and installing them myself, after buying the cats and exhaust, I had only spent $750 so I figured I'd go ahead and take advantage of my $1,500 budget But with the purchase of the spacer, I'm at $950.. If it really is only going to be $675 total, I might just go a little over my budget and live with an angry wife for a few days.
Adding those mods without a tune won't hurt. A tune just allows you to take full advantage of the mods. The gains are different per car. With only those three mods, the value may not be as much, but to each their own. There are many out there with many more mods and no tune. With a naturally aspirated motor, the NEED for a tune is minimal, but the results of one arent bad.
