This is starting to sound like a lot of trouble.. I guess I'll decide to do it when I get everything and can really see how much work will be involved.

well really just depends on humidity and temp.. personally I think the longer they sit the better.. I just always rush it and put finger prints in the paint before its fully dried so I started letting parts dry overnight before messing with them.

oh and you have to scrape off the RTV from the old gasket where it mounts up against the front of the engine. and you'll need to re apply some after you wipe down the surface with acetone.

it was a large blue case of something...

Here's the engine as of now. Does anyone have any experience with the Weapon R polished tanks? I'm looking at those for the next mod. I can get both the coolant and PS for about $150 vs. SxExCx for $400...

Is there any reason why I can't shorten the vacuum line coming out the passenger side of the upper plenum? I know there is a check valve in there but could I cut off a few inches on both sides so there isn't so much extra hose?
