Take it as a sign to move. No state tax, lower unemployment, housing value that is extremely reasonable and very stable in pricing, Job security, great weather, CHEAP 93 octane....I could go on forever

So everything that has happened in the past week:
  • Bought BMW 745i wheels for $250, had them refinished for $200 all together after tax
  • Overheated engine, replaced the radiator
  • Car is now getting towed because the radiator has major air bubbles in it
  • Purchasing new wheel adapters for the 7 series wheels

Taking donations on helping to get my car fixed

Balanced rear tires at good year under lifetime plan. The tech who did the install and balancing was a noob and had all the weights off on the rear but the front was perfect.

Just driving tonight and after new tires, re-balancing, and alignment along with new compression rod bushings under warranty(1 yr ago). The car drives nice and tight on point without any sort of drifting or tracking.

This thread is so dead lets try to revive it. Past few months been busy but managed to install aluminum 1 piece driveshaft, 1000cc injectors, ran -6an feed and return line while redoing all my fuel lines for e85 and installing cjm twin pump. Added a breathable catch can from jegs. Changes my carbonetics twin to competition twin disc. Rjm pedal should be here this wk. on Sunday Steve tuned the car making 432hp/436tq on 16lbs. Few issues to address and once those are fixed and hopefully cosworth is in ill be heading back to try for 460 atleast.

Nightmare with great results at a cost!

Long story, short version: Old KurumaZ bumper in bad shape after close to six years and being painted twice on SLICK so I replaced it with new KurumaZ bumper from COZ. Bodyshop wanted $400 which I agreed to, during prep they found cracks/holes which took and extra 3 hours to correct that's an extra $150. Evidently they don't have the same crew at my body shop cause they claim it took 7 hours to install with the grilles. (BS) Even though the bumper looks amazing I wouldn't recommend my body shop to anyone due to costs and inability to do the job in a timely fashion. This is the short version and $1K for a new KurumaZ bumper, painted/installed and new JDM clears....Gary

see you are posting in the DFW section. If you were truly in DFW the prices are not that outrageous over here. You could hit up R1 to supply the part, install the part and paint it as well. All under 1 roof and savings are passed on to you. Lower taxes/no state tax, and lower cost of living is a reason you should ditch CA and move to TX.
