Wait I didn't realise that that group allwoed you to use your own car. I always thought it was with their 'Vetts.

I'm going to have to check out their callandar and add them to my events list.

Edit:

...

Now what do I call them TDE is already taken...?

Oh, what I've meant by adding to my events list it putting it on my outlook calandar and adding it to the 2010 recing events list. However my job requires me to work coverage this April. So I won't be attending.

I'm already signed up. TDE is the one company that rents out the track that has a program to bring your own car. They have an "Intro to Road Racing" that I *think* is a prereq to most of the bring your own where you actually get on the big oval. I did the Intro course last year, it's limited to the 1-mile infield track, but they've got two professionals that take you through a full day of basics- emergency braking, turning on the sprinklers and doing hard braking/steering on wet pavement, etc.- in their cars- and then you do a a few 30-minute sessions on the infield track. I was there with a Mini Cooper, an IS350F, and a handful of guys with their own Vettes. Stock (at the time) 08 G35s AT, kept it in sport auto mode, and it overheated pretty quickly, so lost some track time. I STILL need to get my oil cooler put on

For TMS I don't consider that a bad price. I don't see any named instructors so they are obviously selling the track to you.

I'm just SEVERELY dissapointed the drivers edge isn't going there this year.
