ok heres english for all you nerds. in february, my car's cd player broke but in the meantime i was just using that pac ipod unit thing unit my skank ex ran over the cord with the seat. anyways... i took it in cuzz i wanted the cd oplayer fixed (still in february) i get the car back....all is well. just recently (present day) i wanted to put the ipod unit back in and noticed the "aux" setting wasnt on there (it was before) so i brought it in. the company that refurbishes the bose systems said my system never had the "aux" setting, which it did. they lied. then they sent the system back and had the dealership put it back in. the dealership calls me and said they sent the wrong one because it wouldnt work. the guy at the dealership claimed bose and clarion head units where the same thing. whatever. ive been cruising in an 09 G37 sedan now forever. its way nice. i tore the hell out of it, need allignment. well, thats all.
Sewell sent my head unit to Clarion to get my CDs out of my changer when they replaced it the first time. Clarion has some part in the repair process.
If you look at the sales information about the G, it says "Boese System", nothing about the actual head unit. But I can tell you it's a Clarion. And the more I thought about it, I think the amps are clarion as well (shrug).

FYI Clarion is the manufaturer of all of Nissan and Infiniti's head units. And all of our units go to them for refurbishing and repair. As far as your unit not having an aux setting....F*&% it man, we just work with what they give us. Thats a parts issue, not a tech issue. I say get a double din kit and go aftermarket.
