dont know about 03-04 models but for the 05-07 they use SMD's not 3mm/5mm everywhere.

I used over 110 SMD's during my install.

this mod is not for the faint of heart. It will take time, and you do risk breaking your expensive components if you are reckless.

Do you get your parts locally, or just take stuff apart, reassemble and order whatcha need. Looking into the SMD's I see there are basically 4 sizes. PLCC-2, 0603, 0805 & 1206. I guess I am just going to have to take some stuff apart. Ill start with the easy stuff, like the window switches. Just sux having to disassemble then the wait time to order some stuff.

so Mr. Rob... through a decent amount of research, i've found out that I need these LED's, but I'm having trouble finding a place to buy them... any thoughts.

LED: SMD SMT PLCC-2 Blue LEDs 500mcd

Apparently I need 50 of them. I found a great thread on a Titan forum about changing them out. Do you think after finding these I might be able to tease you into helping me out with some sort of compensation...

Here's the thread if you're curious... if you check out post #19 in that thread, you'll see the "write up"

Ok, so I'm interested in doing this swap. I would like to know, first, where to get the LEDs and bulbs, how many I'd need and how much they'll cost. Secondly, I know you have most likely been asked a thousand times, but do you have a DIY guide for this job? If not, could you recommend who I should go to (trade or skill) in order to get this done?

I understand what you mean bro, and frankly I'm one of those tools that would F it up. So, in regards to my second question; who (trade or skill wise) should I get in touch with in order to get a job like this done? I'm very good friends with the owner and lead installer of a rather reputable car audio/video shop. But that's more of a cut and splice, and custom installations as far as fiberglass molds and custom sub-boxes, etc. Do you think someone with experience in that area would be capable of completing a task like this, or would you recommend someone else? FYI, I'm a mod n00b, so please don't flame me if I'm asking what you consider to be dumb *** questions... lol.

The 2003 G has incandescent bulbs in the cluster and requires bulb replacements as well as augmenting LED lighting. The 04 has all LEDs but requires new gauge faces like the 03 does. Each year afterward requires all LEDs and instead of soldering resistor/LED combos into the cig lighter and such you can use T5 LED modules, which is what we have migrated to over time.

Not really, you just have more expense for the cluster because of the new gauge faces. They are much cheaper than a replacement cluster.

Here is a pic of a 2003 sedan cluster:
