Looking to see if anyone can reset my ECU by doing the pedal hack. I have tried for an hour and failed miserably trying to get the perfect timing. I am aware that you can "reset" your ECU by unplugging your neg terminal over night but this dose not reset everything the hack will.

Please let me know if you got the timing skills down to help me out.

BTW, i called the local infiniti dealership. They wanted 140$ for a reset.. EFFINING LOL!

 

Not sure if it is the same but it wouldnt hurt to try. Disconnect the neg terminal, wait 15 minutes, step on the brake, then connect the battery again and start. This is how mine is reset. Not sure if it resets everything or not.

 

Trix..just come over and I can do it with the cipher.. throw me 20 bucks and some beer and call it a day.. Why are you doing this btw?

 

alright! I have not reset my ECU after adding high flow cats and my exhaust. I just was peace of mind that my ECU will fully adapt the way it is supposed to after the mods.

 

^^even better- I can clear "learned fuel settings" as well...you will be good after this..no CEL or anything after the install?

i got it down the first night i tried it! it has to be perfectly timed... use a watch

Just finished my last week of high school and exams. I dont think i want to try and remember anything else for a while. Ill give my mind a 3 month break.

It's so easy a caveman can do it! Get a stopwatch and base your counts on that. If you have a decent cell phone then you have a stopwatch.
