a fair amount yes... most are pretty tame in person, so it's ok... and the nicer cars that show up are good and worth the time... it's more like any other car meet... hanging out with fellow car people and havin fun

 

there's really nothing to get worked up over on this...the guys who are saying anything are the minority, not the general consensus. They are simply the ones being vocal. Like bluebob said, the vast majority of guys and girls at the meets are very cool and chill.

don't worry guys...our VIP parking each week isn't going anywhere...i have a solid agreement with Jared and I know he will stand behind it.

^ very true...unfortunately, they don't know that. It has not been communicated at all that we are the ones who single-handedly brought back the VIP lot to its former glory.

So when I move back to DFW I have to deal with people complaining over parking spots?

My G is Stanced LOW and poked. I scrape highway reflectors and I turn heads. But I guess I have a Middle Aged Civic? No offense to anyone who agrees with the "VIP" parking but I think if you have something that is outside of the trends, you deserve to be put out in a spotlight so to speak.

I can't wait to move back....

So I read through the entire thread and I guess I can see a point...but "the car guy" made it clear that exotics aren't gonna come out on a week night. So I would imagine that this Jared character has good enough taste to let particular cars in VIP. However it is a public parking lot, correct? IDK...I guess we do it different in CA. Hellaflush 5 was in a public parking lot and I was parked next to a bone stock sentra(someone not part of the show)...people still saw it and it made it on HF, CiB and Stance:Nation...

Maybe I'm not seeing the point...but people are always going to ask "if he can why can't i"

Also...there are more trucks in texas than any other state...they should park in the back lol....

ANNND...I read some d-bags comment about the G35s/37s parking in a row like Tokyo Drift???....

^^ ya dude.. but Jared is chill enough to let whoever he wants in. Last night some guy made a HUGE deal about getting in VIP with his beat up ooold camaro with no paint, 5 different rust or primer colored panels, and nothing special in his engine bay. This guy actually just drove in regardless of our upgraded cones... they are buckets now.. and Jared pretty much had to get the cops involved to force him to leave the VIP. Owell.. other than that it was pretty dope last night.. some badass cars came through.. Oh and ur moving back?

 

I might. Lookin at some open positions in Fort Worth. I could potentially be back by the end of the year

 

ultimately, I agree with you Finally. Most of the blow-hards who were making a scene on the other forum are either butt hurt that they didn't get in or are just that full of themselves. Jared will never deny a G simply because I have chatted with him, he knows we are all chill, and that we don't cause problems (not to mention a few of us help run the weekly meets).

The comment about us parking in a row was just idiotic. The vettes do it, the vipers do it, the chargers do it, etc. etc....
