in the mean time...

So it was great seeing a few of you guys cars out there last night at lees.. It definately makes me realize that I have to spend some time looking for the right wheel and tire package..

So in the mean time I think what I wanna do is get my stock 18s powdercoated black and get some spacers. I heard that the spacer should be a 15mm? I really like the look of the stock 18s and I am getting paint work done on my G by Stephen to pretty much black out the car and I think the rims would look great..

What are yalls opinions?

You will definitely want more than a 15mm in the rear. I don't know how closely you looked at my rears (stock 19's), but they are currently pushed out on 20mm spacers and I don't feel like it is far enough.

It's all preference, but I would suggest something more than a 15mm personally.

It also depends on how much/if you are lowered and how much negative camber you are running. At stock height, a +15mm spacer is probably fine. If you are lowered and have not corrected camber, you definitely want to run a larger spacer.

OP - pics provided by Chris show you the difference.. and you don't want to get some spacers and still be be disappointed..

I know Brit is lusting to get him some more aggressive spacers or put what he has up front and go wider in the rear.

My vote will always be 20mm front and 25mm rear..

Also Stephen and I both fender roll for when you REALLY want to get aggressive on your stance..

I'd personally do 25/30. I had 20/25 on OEM 18s for a while and it was still not as flush as I liked.

You were stock ride height as well? That is my main concern.. Chris's car looks great but he said it was lowered. I don't plan on lowering mine until I get wheels and since its my DD I don't plan on lowering much at all if any.

I had my car dropped on springs and it was my DD.. What you saw last night was dropped on coilovers.. Don't let it scare you man.. You can do a very conservative drop and not have to modify the body of the car. I had the Tenabe NF210s, and got 1" drop in the front and .8" in the rear.. (VERY CONSERVATIVE)..

You can get different drops for simply aesthetic purposes.. I just sold my springs to Loco-Sleepy, so you'll see what they look like on his ride eventually. Or you can check out my progression thread (check my signature).. I haven't taken any pics since dropping on my coils, so ALL of those pics are w/ my springs. I was able to go over several speed bumps and rail road tracks and anything else you can think of like you can w/ normal driving.

Don't be afraid bro.. GET RID OF THAT WHEEL GAP!!!

As far as the spacers go.. I think that's an excellent deal w/ the project kics.. You definitely wanna go w/ an upper name brand for spacers, don't want bolts breaking on ya. You'll definitely be pleased w/ your stance w/ the addition of spacers.. Gives your car a whole 'nother disposition.

Yea man I def am gonna fo conservative drop because it's my DD. Spacers first tho for sure. So 20 front 25 rear is what I think I will go with. Non dropped for now.

It really depends on YOUR flavor though - if you like how Chris's car looks, then perhaps your stance willl be a lil more aggressive. I did 20/25 cause I didnt want to have to mess with a fender roll (this is way before I had my roller) and I was stock ride height. You CAN get away with 30mm in the rear while still stock... HOWEVER, you will have to get a roll if you drop your car .5, 1.0, 1.5 inches..

SRS though - just get what you want....dont let us convince ya...its all suggestions here...know what I mean?

I am dropped on 350z stechs. in my opinion they provided me with a good daily driver drop. after getting 25mm spacers in the rear, I had to get my fenders rolled. I'm ru ning 25mm spacers in the rear and 20mm in the front.

on another not my handling feels like it could use some work. like turning on ramps during high speeds u can definatly feel some body roll. but that could also be my struts.. right?

your next mods should be SWAYS if you want less body roll.. your struts are fine..
