New to G35driver... not new to the G35

Hey everyone just wanted to say what up to everyone...

I've been living in the Dallas (McKinney) area since I graduated college back in May '09 and bought a 2006 OB G35 Coupe 6MT not too long after graduation.

First thing I did was put 30% Wincos Tint on sides and 20% Wincos on back

I am just now starting to get into "moding" and making some changes... I recently purchased clear corners and a new air filter (Spectre Performance 884309 hpR Replacement Air Filter Element)

Soon I will be purchasing a Z-tube (need advice on installing) and also powdercoating my OEM 19"s because the previous owner curbed the hell out of them.. Thinking about going black

Right now though I'm having to spend all my money on replacing the drive belts, manual trans service, replacing the rear brake bads, coolant exchange, brake fluid exchange

I was thinking about buying the Prjoect Mu NS brake pads for my rear replacement... thoughts?

Here's a pic

Nice and clean G, Yeah clear corners and a z-tube are a good start, maybe remove those bumper guard things on the doors. Here is a guide on installing the z-tube and some other beneficial mods. myg35mods.com

why do you need coolant exchange??

love my project mu pads, highly recommend them, but not just for rear, do all 4.. I'm mad that I didn't get rears at the same time as fronts.

nice to have you on board... Clean G...

I'll be selling my wheels as soon as my new ones come in if you're looking for some new wheels.

Yeah don't know why I wrote down coolant exchange... I was just remembering things off the top of my head (dealership said I needed to do it)

I was thinking the same thing about the brake pads (doing all 4 at once)

Gonna be a little while before I go with some new wheels, I'd like to powdercoat my rays first

Welcome to the club, I have had my G for about 2 months now and the mod bug has bit me hard...Don't worry my rims have some curb damage as well from previous owner. I am trying to find some 19" rays locally myself

Hair dryer/heat gun and some goo-gone stuff should do the trick

Welcome to the G community man. It sounds like you are off to a good start, so props for that.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. Almost everyone on here will be willing to help with installs and whatnot, so don't ever feel like you have to fly solo on anything.
