We'll, yesterday my A/C started blowing warmer air. Not hot air, but I turn it to 60 and the air coming out is around 75 deg.
I checked the usual culprits
1. Checked the sensor under the driver's side dash. Unplugged and replugged it in.
2. Check the r-134 level on the low side. Seemed to be at the correct level
3. Turned off the AC and then turned it back on. Compressor seems turn on okay.
4. Fans seem to be working properly.
Today, I broke down and went to Firestone. Put the dye in to see if there were any leaks. No leaks. They completely evacuated the system and recharged the r-134. On the low side it was at 55 psi. On the high side its around 200 psi. They said that the high side should be around 240 psi and should flutuate with revs, which it isn't.
When I get on the highway it does get cooler from 75 to ~70 it seems like, but not cool enough. It should be coming out at 55 deg from what I'm told.
Do you guys think it is the compressor? 8(

i had as simlar problem on my old *** integra one time, and it ended up being the compressor, but i'm def not an expert on this matter. i would take it to the dealership and see how much it would cost to look at it.. sucks, but you know, cant be without ac in 95 degrees.
Belt appears to be okay. Went back this morning and the compressor was only putting out 150 psi on the high side and it was a steady 50 psi on the low side. The clutch was definitely engaging as the center of the pulley was turning. The technician said that it looks like the compressor is starting to go, and the expansion valve may be part of the problem as well (that is the valve that controls the r134 going from the low to high side).
May end up replacing the expansion valve and the compressor. I just don't want to mess with it now, so may just fork out the dinero.

check the fan motor.
i had the same problem, and the dealer replaced the fan motor.
the fans were running, but they were defective.

I got the similar problem with my A/C. the guys at city garage told me it was the expansion valve.
big problem, it isnt in the engine compartment, its in behind the dash so they have to take out everything behind the radio, driver side and passenger side.
ttl job is 8 hrs +.
deciding if its worth it to shell out 1000 dollars of labor for a $50 part.

If you have a CAI then it might have rubbed a hole in the High pressure line as mine did. That is kinda a common issue if the CAI isn't bolted down properly.

I only found it when I was changing the motor out after i blew it.

Changed out the compressor, expansion valve and recharged the whole thing. Blows really cold now. It was definitely the compressor unfortunately.
