have to agree with that, without changing the stock box I doubt you can gain more than 1-2 hp... unless you do filterless which was suggested.

sorta good news guys, AFE (takeda) got back to me with this

"Rob,

Let me see if I can get this cleared for you.

Sr. Category Manager - Automotive"

It probably is the same shop. Gotham Racing I believe is what it was called? The owner is huge in the Rx7 scene, and has a pretty incredible full race Autocross Rx7 at the shop. I think it's pushing close to 500hp, and can't weigh more than 1800lbs.. It's sick. He also had a nicely modded '05 6mt that he sold a few months back.

Whats the donation meter up to? Since I don't have any bolt ons (power ones) to speak off I'll commit some bills for this. I'll also lend a hand if needed or provide supervision/moral support.

Let me know where and when the date for the testing is and I'll either paypal if I can't show or give you some $$$ there. I'll start small and work from there.

awesome guys.

yeah I'm not accepting donations until I get the appointment setup on the dyno.

I figure I will give it a week or two for manufacturers to get back to me about their intakes.

looks like will is coming through with the topspeed intake which is awesome. I hope takeada will send me one of theirs.

I figure this is a great way to save people $$$ so small donations would be awesome.

make sure you put the car back to 100% stock and do 3 pulls at the end as well. without proper controls (ie 100% stock car) at the beginning and end, you are wasting your time.

Lol did you not read? He has tons of nods and will not remove them
They remove any bottle necks so that intakes can shine and not all be hindered.

You should link the current letters into comparison and resend out an email in about a week so they know the competitors have let you test them.
