Point made. I'll check out O'reilleys then...that's pretty messed up that they are just refurb motors. IIRC, the motors at the dealer are $200 or so?

Well... I think R1 has a different method.. At first he was just cleaning the motor like everyone else, but he seems to have found another place to clean as well, because the first time he did it, like you guys, it only worked temporarily, but the next time, he told me there was another area that needed to be cleaned, and it's been working flawlessly since..

Yes, the one from Oriely will also clog because it doesn't have vents just like the stock one doesn't..

However, the Orileys one is substantially less in cost..

Yeah, there's another part that I think you can dissassemble...I'm sure part of the problem was that I didn't put new motor grease in it....I'll take it apart on Thurs and post my results.

FYI..still searching online and Autozone carries the reman motors also but w/ lifetime warranty...shhht should have gotten my door lock relays from them instead of buying overpriced nissan crap (the parts that is)....

Worse case I buy the autozone one....it breaks..who cares...get a new one for free until the G blows up...lol

^^yep - regardless as long as you have a warranty - pay for it once and just take it back if it breaks again...

Prices from O Reilleys & Autozone

Looks like the pricing is identical on almost all parts....personally I'd go to Autozone..they put ur info in the computer n u dont have to worry whether they're gonna find your purchase later.

Its funny of all this talk. Like everyone said all the motors are the same and will do the same thing. Also if you know what your doing you should be able to knock out both door in bout 45mins if not less. Tell you what Brit. To prove everyone wrong ill clean yours for 20 bucks. If it messes up within the year and you want to replace the motor then i put it in for free. You got my #
