question, when you've cleaned the motor have you put anything back into it like new motor grease like the one it has inside?

Also, has anyone looked into whether the regulator could cause any problems??? could the regulator somewhat dry out on the grease/lube it has and cause the motor to work harder/jam.

Yeah mine screwed up again after a month after cleaning it with compressed air and wiping some of the dirt off, BUT......

I cleaned mine again with a non-residue electronic contact cleaner from radio shack, the same stuff used to clean the MAF sensor. You have to clean it like you're going to eat off of it. Spray it with the cleaner until it's dripping and practically flushing out. You have to hold it upside down or else the dirt and cleaner won't flush out. The cleaner dries up quick, so spray it aggressively. I used about half of the can. It's been a year since mine screwed up. i can almost guarantee that this is the best way.

VV, I say screw it and take R1 up on his word.. Hell, I'll even put 10 bucks up toward the purchase of a new one if you have to buy it.. I've got faith in my boy's work.. I haven't had any problems since he redid it..

Haha no I believe it....I'm gonna hit you up R1 to get this done (along with some of the other smaller work that I have been forgetting to do, like the two screws for the front lip).
