who here has tein flex?
I am looking at a set. i wanna know though, a lotta people said that it doesnt go low enough on the rear. i have 18s, so i wanna see how low it can go. i dont want slammed at all, but i want very little gap between the fender and tire...
anyone have em in dfw?

yup that is true.
you cant go crazy low on the rear with the them alone, BUT u can with the rubber-cut mod, whatever that is called.
i am dialed in all the way in the rear, w/o that cut mod. i am tucked in already though.

oh yeah I had cut my spring mount before when I was on springs and I'm glad I did. even thought I'm on the comfort sports the rear is almost all the way down. fronts are fine for adjusting though.

well just got em with edfc. cant wait for them to come in and get them installed. i will be doing the spring mount cut, not much, but a little to help the stance a little. god this will be fun on the track.
Good thing emad is that you can take atleast half inch if not the full inch off the spring mount and adjust the coils up if thats too low. I did beervipers

Yep I'm also on TEIN Flex and R1 cut the spring mount to give me another 1/2" drop. I'm not running spacers so I'm not flush but I am definitely as low as I want to go, actually I'm planning to raise the whole car up a little for track and auto-x!
